General, Orthodontic, and Pediatric
We offer general dental assisting and all students must start in the general program. ASDA also offers Orthodontic and Pediatric Extension Courses for those who know they want to work with braces or kids!

ASDA sees many students continue their education in areas like dental hygiene school, dental school, or pursue front office positions such as insurance coordinators, benefits coordinators, or office management.

Clinical curriculum is updated annually, along with instructors professional development and certifications and our students initiate training with typodonts and advance to live patient clinicals to dispel new chairside jitters.

The Clinical Instructors at ASDA are certified by DANB in all areas of dental to ensure you are receiving the best education possible. Their certifications include Certified Dental Assistants, Certified Orthodontic Assistants, Certified Preventative Function Dental Assistant, Certified Restorative Function Dental Assistant, and Arizona Expanded Function Dental Assistant. By maintaining their certifications from the Dental Assisting National Board, they make sure they are giving their students the best possible training available.
