The Arizona School of Dental Assisting prepares students for entry-level positions as a chairside assistant in a dental office. Students will learn by practicing the procedural skills necessary for the position, dental front office management, infection control, and patient education.
Upon graduation, students will receive a Dental Assisting Certificate, making you eligible to work in any dental office. The dental assisting program involved 12 weeks of hands-on training where students have the opportunity to practice various routines of chairside dental assisting.
Once completed, the student will be ready to take the X-ray Certification exam, Coronal Polish certification, and Dentrix 101. The dental assisting career has a projected growth of 18% by 2024, making it one of the fastest growing careers in the nation!
